Specifications

Actuators are available for 2-position control, floating (tri-state)
control, pulse width modulating control or 2 - 10 VDC
modulating control. They can be supplied in fail-safe or
fail in last position versions.

Ambient temperature limitation is from 5º C (40º F) to
40º C (105º F) non-condensing.

Power supply voltage is 24VAC., 50 or 60 Hz on all models, 115VAC or 250VAC available in models ME4430 or ME4530 only.

How to Specify

Supply Spartan control valves complete with 'Power Cube' gear motor actuators.

The valve bodies shall be 125# and 250# (2 way) or 250# (3 way) static pressure
rated, with top replaceable repair elements to facilitate maintenance or change of CV
and flow characteristic without removing the valve from the line (whether 2 way,
3-way or 4 port). They shall be sweat or union globe required to meet site conditions.

The low voltage actuators shall be of brushless hysterysis type in the spring
return versions and brushless synchronous type for the fail in last position versions.

PWM or 2-10VDC actuators shall have built-in microprocessor for stem
adjustment, speed control, and optical pickup so as to provide accurate
positioning, automatic stem adjustment, and trouble free (no mechanical
wiper card to wear out) operation. The actuator shall affix to the valve
with a simple thumb nut.
